DeepSeek plans on releasing new agentic model in Q4: The Chinese startup, which shook markets earlier this year with its R1 model, is reportedly working on releasing a new model with agentic capabilities. The model will “carry out multi-step actions on a person’s behalf with minimal direction from the user.“ Bloomberg reports that people familiar with the matter expect the model to be released before the end of the year.
