Meta to use AI chats for targeted ads: The company will begin using data from user chats with Meta AI and other AI features to target ads across Facebook and Instagram. The update takes effect on December 16 and excludes regions with stricter privacy laws like the EU, UK, and South Korea. Users cannot opt out, though Meta says sensitive topics won’t be used.
