1. ChatGPT gets a morning briefing tool: OpenAI is rolling out Pulse in ChatGPT, a new feature that crafts personalized morning reports overnight. Users get 5 -10 AI-generated briefs based on news, their Gmail, Google Calendar, and past chats. Pro subscribers will see these as “cards” covering schedules, updates, and more. OpenAI plans to expand Pulse to Plus and free users in the future. See it in action here.

2. Meta introduces AI video feed: The new Vibes feed in the Meta AI app lets users browse, remix, or create short AI-generated videos. The feed is powered by Midjourney and Black Forest Labs. Clips can be shared across Instagram and Facebook. The feature has received some backlash on socials for encouraging AI ‘slop.‘ See it for yourself here.

3. Spotify cracks down on AI music: The streaming platform is tightening rules on AI-generated music, requiring artists to label AI contributions using the music data standard (DDEX) and rolling out a new spam filter. Fake uploads and unauthorized AI voice clones will be blocked before tracks go live. “Profile mismatches”, where songs appear under the wrong artist, are also being targeted.
