1. The White House announces a “Manhattan Project for AI”: Outlined by an executive order, the Genesis Project is a national effort to accelerate AI-driven innovation. The project — run by the Department of Energy — aims to build an integrated AI model trained on federal data, while also creating jobs and reducing energy costs.
