1. Microsoft adds Claude to 365 Copilot: Users can now switch between OpenAI and Anthropic’s models in Researcher or when building agents in Copilot Studio. A new “Try Claude” button lets users tap Opus 4.1 for deep reasoning tasks, while Sonnet 4 handles routine and content-heavy work. Studio users can mix models from Anthropic, OpenAI, and others in Azure’s catalog. See it in action here.
2. Nvidia strikes AI deal with Alibaba: The Chinese e-commerce giant will integrate Nvidia’s Physical AI tools into its cloud platform to simulate 3D environments for robotics, self-driving cars, and smart factories. This comes as China’s regulators reportedly ordered firms like Alibaba to halt purchases of Nvidia’s RTX Pro 6000D chips. The deal signals Alibaba’s focus on building out its AI business further alongside its main e-commerce business.
3. Neon Mobile lets people sell their data to AI companies: The app is reportedly offering up to $30/day to record user conversations and sell the audio to AI companies. Neon claims it only captures your side of the call, but its terms grant “worldwide, exclusive, irrevocable” rights to use recordings however it wants. The app just climbed to second spot on Apple’s Social Networking app charts.
