1. Microsoft rolls out App Builder and Workflows in Copilot: App Builder lets you create and edit full-stack applications using simple conversational prompts — no coding knowledge required. Meanwhile, the new ‘Workflows’ feature automates routine tasks across the Copilot platform. The features come bundled with existing $30 monthly Copilot subscriptions. You can see them in action here.
2. Big Tech kicks off earnings season amid ‘AI bubble’ fears: Meta spooked investors after the company unveiled plans to “notably” ramp up AI spending through 2026, causing shares to plummet 8% and wiping out about $160B in market value. Microsoft dipped 3.6% — an Azure outage and slowing cloud growth dampened its report. Meanwhile, Alphabet rallied 6% after reporting its first-ever $100B quarterly revenue. The ‘Magnificent 7’ continue to have an outsized impact on the S&P 500.

Nvidia becomes the world’s first $5T company: The chipmaker’s meteoric rise — responsible for nearly one-fifth of the S&P 500’s gains this year alone — was further fueled by the prospect of potential ‘Blackwell’ chip exports to China, and CEO Jensen Huang’s statements that next-gen chips are on track to generate half a trillion in revenue.
