1. New AI model turns images into explorable 3D worlds: Marble, the new beta model from World Labs, turns images or text prompts into fully navigable 3D worlds. The model creates clean, detailed geometry and supports a wide range of visual styles from hyper-realistic to cartoonish. The model could be a versatile tool for filmmakers and game designers. 2. Text-to-app startup claims its new app builder tops benchmarks: Orchids lets users build complete apps and websites with simple text prompts. The company claims the app can handle everything — from frontend to backend, authentication, databases, and payments — without needing extra tools. Orchids is already outperforming established rivals like Bolt and v0 on some key benchmarks, according to CEO Kevin Lu.
3. AI agents will soon make payments on your behalf, thanks to Google: The search giant has introduced the Agent Payments Protocol (AP2), which lets AI agents make purchases for users. Agents handle complex tasks, from booking flights and hotels to coordinating product bundles, while ensuring human intent and authorization are auditable. More than 60 merchants and financial platforms like Mastercard, PayPal, and American Express are on board. Google says AP2 keeps transactions verifiable with cryptographically signed records.
