Trained on trusted medical sources like JAMA and The New England Journal of Medicine, the platform helps doctors and nurses instantly access verified medical knowledge. Since July, monthly consultations have soared to 15 million, as clinicians turn to the tool for faster answers.
2. OpenAI partners with Hollywood to crack down on celebrity deepfake videos: After AI-generated videos featuring Bryan Cranston circulated on Sora, OpenAI is partnering with the Breaking Bad actor, SAG-AFTRA, and agencies including CAA and UTA to build stronger protections against unauthorized content. The company also recently updated Sora’s opt-out system to give creators more control, following similar cases involving Martin Luther King Jr. and Robin Williams.
3. Anthropic expands Claude into life sciences: The company is extending its AI expertise to labs with Claude for Life Sciences, a platform that connects AI models to research portals like Benchling and PubMed.
